BIOGRAPHY
Starting his radio and dj career in 2005, Dj Doc has always had the passion for music and entertainment in his heart. Following the mentorship of fellow Djs , Doc has knocked down many barrieres in the industry. Co-hosting an on air radio show (Power Mix Sunday Nights, Power 106.9 fm) for over 10 years that focused on independent and local artists of all generes was just the start of what would turn into the network that Dj Doc has built. Completing his degree in Broadcast Communications from Mississippi Valley State University (2013), Dj Doc has taken the soul of an HBCU experience and transformed it into being the most well rounded DJs in his region. Working with signed and independent artists, city and nationwide events, Dj Doc believes in always keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats with his music and stage presence. Dj Doc has been a resident Dj for over 15 venues, multiple arena football teams, the personal Dj for Taebo Tha Truth, King ISO, and guest Dj for several other artists. As an active member of the World Wide Fleet Djs and Musical Director for Project Be Well, Dj Doc’s love of being a Dj is continuously growing and does not seem to have any plans on stopping.
